CO2 burden and climatic risk. Strategies of action of the German electricity supply companies. 2. rev. ed.
Description
According to indications of the working group for questions on the climate of the association of German electric utilities (VDEW), energy application of power generation contributes to the German CO2-emission with about 30%. A reduction of CO2-emissions in electro-economics can be achieved especially with a decrease of the application of fossil energy sources parallel to a better energy utilization (increase of the efficiency, enlargement of cogeneration) and through the expansion of power generation free from CO2 (nuclear energy, renewable energy sources).
