Two-photon decay of the 6.05-MeV state of 16O
- 1. Lockheed Palo Alto Research Laboratory, Palo Alto, California 94304
Description
A triple-coincidence, five-parameter technique was employed to search for two-photon emission in the decay of the 16O(6.05-MeV) state. Data were event-recorded and analyzed in parallel with events associated with decay of the 16O(6.13-MeV) and the 16O(7.12-MeV) states. Our measured branching ratio is N/sub γγ//N/sub π/ = (2.5+-1.1) x10-4
