Active centers on YBa2Cu3O7-x superconducting ceramics surface

Description
Methods of thermostimulated emission and ESR were used to investigate the nature of active centers forming on the surface of YBa2Cu3O7-x ceramics subjected to mechanical effect or to the effect of γ-radiation. It was established that such centers were presented by Cu+ ions connected with oxygen vacancies and stable at T≤400 K, as well as formations of [Cu3+, O2-] type stable at T3≤550 K and decomposing at T>550 K in the presence of neutral oxygen
