Description

The effect of thermobaric treatment on electron-energy VC0,44O0,48 and VN0,46O0,50 spectrum is studied. Vanadium X-ray emission Kβ5-spectra of the above compounds in the initial state and after all-round compression for 1-2 min under the pressure of 7.7 and 9.0 GPa at the temperature of 1800 and 1600 deg C, respectively, are obtained. Due to the above treatment the increase of lattice period from 4,1360 to 4,1647 A in oxycarbide and from 4,1161 to 4,1370 A in oxynitride with the appropriate density growth takes place. The calculations of the number of particles in the unit cell have shown that the filling of structural vacancies takes place in both compounds. The possible mechanism of the process is suggested
