Description
A fission reactor is an irradiation tool very difficult to control its irradiation conditions. However, it is essential for understanding of fundamental mechanism or radiation effects in materials to correlate results obtained in a fission reactor irradiation with those obtained in other irradiation facilities such as ion beam irradiation facility and high voltage TEM. To do so, we need to define the irradiation conditions in a fission reactor. We have been and are developing techniques to control irradiation conditions in a fission reactor JMTR and techniques to monitor irradiation conditions. In this paper, we show the developed techniques for control of irradiation conditions. (author)
