This contribution is aimed on presenting of new knowledge in regard to digital retrieval of materials of remote sensing of the Earth with high spatially resolution level for forest purposes - more addressable for determination of type of vegetation cover in high-elevation conditions from aerial colour infra-red snapshots (CIR) and panchromatic and multispectral data IKONOS
