Transport of low energy electrons in water and some physico-chemical implications

The possible indirect effect of low-energy electrons on cells through diffusing radicals from electron-water interactions is discussed. Some calculations on time-dependent yield of radical species from low-energy, sub excitation electron transport and thermalization are described
