Study on the feasibility of the localization of plant radiation monitoring system

  • 1. China Nuclear Power Technology Research Inst., Shenzhen (China)

Description

Plant radiation monitoring system (KRT) can ensures the safe run of the plants and the safety of the workers by monitoring the radiation level of some related workshops or equipment. At present, plant radiation monitoring system of domestic nuclear power plants mostly uses mature foreign products. Some measuring channels of some plants use domestic equipment, while most of measuring channels can not supplied by domestic manufacturers. The purpose of the localization plant radiation monitoring system is to reduce the cost of purchasing equipment, lower the cost of nuclear power and enhance autonomous innovation ability of domestic manufacturers. The difficulty of the localization of plant radiation monitoring system mostly focuses on the users' distrust of domestic equipment. In the meantime, there are several shortages still exists, such as the performance of domestic detectors also be poor. Base on the opportunity of the development of domestic nuclear power on a still greater scale, and depended on the advantages of mature domestic radiation monitoring instrument technology, several measures (such as government policies support, building the industrial technology innovation system with enterprises as main part, the integration of production, teaching and research and improving the management level of enterprises) should be used to carry out the localization of plant.
