Spectrophotometric and chromatographic study of radiolysis products of aerated aqueous solutions of alkyl resorcinols

Description
Products of radiation-induced oxidation of aerated water solutions of 5-methyl resorcinols, when 60Co gamma radiation was applied at a dose of 5-50 kGy along with accelerated electrons, the electron beam energy being 4.5 MeV, were studied by the methods of high-performance liquid chromatography and spectrophotometric analysis. Occurrence of complex redox processes was ascertained, the processes continuing in the post-radiation period and resulting in formation of a diverse set of final products due to destruction and aggregation of intermediate oxidation products

Методами высокоэффективной жидкостной хроматографии и спектрофотометрического анализа изучены продукты радиационного окисления аэрированных водных растворов 5-метилрезорцина под действием гамма-излучения 60Со дозами 5-50 кГр и ускоренных электронов с энергией электронного пучка 4.5 МэВ. Установлено протекание сложных окислительно-восстановительных процессов, которые продолжаются и в пострадиационный период и приводят к образованию разнообразного набора конечных продуктов в результате как деструкции, так и агрегации промежуточных продуктов окисленияAdditional details
