Assessment of indoor exposure levels to ionizing radiations
Description
The main sources of indoor external exposure to natural ionizing radiations are radionuclides in building materials and soil. Depending on their concentrations and space distributions in construction materials they can increase absorbed dose rates. The results of the activity measurements of building materials present in the country are presented in this paper. The adopted methodology for exposure levels assessment and their results are presented as well. (author)
