Description
The thermal conduction of niobium and tantalum single crystals of different impurity contents is measured below 20 K. The investigation of the lattice thermal conductivity as limited by the interaction of phonons with electrons demonstrates that both, longitudinal and transverse phonon modes are scattered strongly.
