Determination of intermediate resonance parameters in the multigroup formalism

Description

This work shows a new method for the calculation of the resonance intermediate parameters (IRP) λ, κ e μ on the multigroup formalism. The method is based on a numerical formalism, using the first order approximation for the neutron flux and cross sections from ENDF/B-IV. The calculated values of the IRP were initially calculated similarly to the usual methods which were based on an analytical process. As an illustrative example, one has calculated the IRP for groups 32 and 45 of HAMMER-TECHNION code. The results obtained can be considered satisfactory. (author)
