On the polarization of final nucleus in the (N,α) knock-on reaction
Description
In this paper the polarization of the final nucleus in the (N,α) knock-on reaction is studied. Starting from the density matrix formalism the polarization transfer coefficients are computed. These coefficients describe the transfer of density matrix of the nucleon scattered on α particles. The capture of a polarized nucleon by the final nucleus gives the polarization vector of that nucleus. (author)
