Some applications of nucleonic gauging in boiler and allied industries
Description
In India, poineering effort has been made to use nucleonic gauges of transmission type for the detection of foreign materials in boiler tubes and the results are encouraging. There is a need to develop back scattering type gauges for the same purpose. Also special gauges to control the level of coal powder in the coal bunkers of boilers need development. A large potential exist for nucleonic gauging in the modern industrial development. (auth.)
