Elastic ion scattering radiation spectrum of electrons oscillating in a superbright laser field. The stochastic generation of harmonics

Description
The radiation spectrum of electron oscillating in a superbright laser field and colliding elastically with ions is shown to have a first marked maximum for the frequency being laser frequency multiple of the ratio of oscillation amplitude to the electron mean free path. The harmonic generated with a rather wide spectrum has an amplitude sufficient for recording. It allows to use the effect as a direct method for diagnostics of medium and laser field
