Investigation into kinetics of solution and precipitation of secondary phases in alloy Cr15Ni70W10MoAlTiB

Description
Structural process kinetics during austenization and aging of superalloy Cr15Ni70W10MoAlTiB is investigated. It is established that at temperature higher-than 90 deg C solution of γ'-phase occurs, and at temperature higher than 1050 deg C - chromium and molybdenum carbides. On annealing γ'-phase particles are precipitated uniformly in grain volume, and carbides show a tendency to form a network along grain boundaries. Coarsening of precipitation particles in annealing obeys the exponential low
