Vacuum instability and the critical value of the coupling parameter in scalar QED
Description
Using the coherent state as a trial wave function describing the particle-antiparticle condensate if the coupling parameter αequivalente2/4π exceeds some critical value α/sub c/, we find α/sub c/ = 2.543 for scalar QED
