The detection of leaks and defects during the installation and repair of steam generators

Description

Non-tightness and defects detection during assembling and repair of steam generators includes three main points: the control of pipes(water, sodium, steam etc) during assemblage of steam generators; the control during fabrication of heat transferring pipes of the steamer; the control of welding of new heat transferring pipes to pipe grids. The following methods of non-destructive control were used: X-raying; color defectoscopy; helium leakage tests
