A comparison of the C KVV Auger spectra of NbC and NbN/sub 0.7/C/sub 0.3/
Description
The C KVV Auger spectra of NbC and NbN/sub 0.7/C/sub 0.3/ are obtained and compared with each other. It is concluded that essential local redistributions of the electronic density may occur under alloying of NbC and NbN. In particular, the negative charge on carbon atoms in the alloy NbN/sub 0.7/C/sub 0.3/ increases as compared to that of NbC. (author)
