Particle spectra and correlations at large transverse momentum

The parton model and jet production are characterized. Parametrizations are given for the jet production cross section and the jet decay. It is shown that decaying jets with deviating scaling behaviour can describe a series of one-particle distributions and correlations. In particular, rapidity and transverse momentum correlations are investigated for particles originating from the same jet as well as from various jets. The general formalism allows to give correlations of any order as demonstrated on the basis of two- and three-particle correlations
