Connection between mechanical properties and microstructural quantitative characteristics of VT3-1 and VT-23 alloys

Description
Specimens of (α+β-titanium alloys types VT3-1 and VT-23 were tensile tested to follow the dependence of mechanical properties of phase composition. Comparison of test results and microstructures showed the existence of interrelations between mechanical properties and quantitative structural parameters. For example, ultimate strength decrease is clearly defined with an increase of α-phase amount
