Luminescence and photo-excitation properties of laser heterostructures with CdSe/ZnSe quantum dots

Description
We report on the photoluminescence excitation studies of optically pumped Cd(Zn)Se/ZnMgSSe laser heterostructures with CdSe/ZnSe quantum dots (QDs) in the active region, grown by molecular beam epitaxy on GaAs substrates. The weak coupling of CdSe QD excitons with the standing-wave modes of the cavity formed between the sample surface and the II-VI/GaAs interface has been observed.
