Experimental research of water chemistry for 5 MW nuclear heating reactor

Description
The experimental research of primary coolant on 5 MW nuclear heating reactor (NHR) is reported. The 5 MW NHR is an integrated self-pressuring, natural circulation, vessel type, light water reactor. The reactor structure influence on water chemistry is described. The chemistry components for coolant water of primary loop of reactor, such as dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity, nitrate, chloride, fluoride, corrosion products are established. The main performance of water chemistry for HNR is investigated and discussed
