Long time confinement of fast particles in magnetic trap

Description
Influence of a conical instability conditioned by an anisotropy in the distribution of plasma thermal ions on the confinement time for the fraction of fast particles captured by a trap, is considered. In this case through whistlers, the energy transfer from plasma to the transverse degree of freedom of the captured particles, the total energy of which is very small in comparison with plasma energy in a trap. This question directly relates to the problem of cosmic ray confinement on the Sun and in the Earth's magnetosphere
