Description

This work explains the different aspects related with the design, construction and tests of a micro controlled MCS module to be used in the neutron beam characterization in the thermal range using the time-of-flight measurement method. The system is developed according to a PIC17C43 micro controller which diminishes the quantity of components used and the equipment cost. The operating tests have been carried out in the thermal column and in the irradiation radial conducts of the RP-10 reactor at IPEN
