Description
The gamma-radiolysis of cyclohexane-isooctane mixtures at 27 and 78 deg C was studied. The existence of energy transfer was established. It was found that the main process is transfer excitation from C6H12 to C8H18 at low C8H18 concentrations. At high C8H18 concentrations, charge transfer from cyclohexane to isooctane plays an important role. With increasing temperature the G-values of both processes increase. (author)
