Influence of dislocations on secondary hardening mechanism
Description
By means of the technique of nuclear gamma resonance, transmission electron microscopy and thermoactivation analysis of hardening curves the influence of dislocations density (lambda) on the character of atomic rearrangements, preparing and accompanying the secondary hardening of molybdenum-containing steels has been studied. It has been found that at great lambda values molybdenum precipitates from the solid solution on dislocations while at small ones - it remains in the solution forming microregions with the tendency to short-range ordering
