Description
The ammonia profile in the atmosphere of Saturn is inferred directly from inversion of the planet's microwave emission spectrum between 1 and 20 cm wavelength. The inferred profile is characterized by an ammonia mixing ratio of about 1 x 10-4 and the presence of a saturated layer with a base temperature and pressure of about 154 K and 4 atm, respectively
