Description

An object-oriented approach to modeling the neutron transport and multiplication process in a nuclear reactor system is demonstrated. The code developed as part of this effort consists of a physically intuitive message passing system that couples computational objects which model materials used in nuclear reactor systems and critical assemblies. A system model of a cylindrical uranium and polyethylene critical assembly is demonstrated
