Nonliner Cepheid pulsations in the iterative approximation
Description
A preliminary report on an investigation designed to explore the possibility that the ''bumps'' appearing on the velocity curves of middle-period Cepheids may be closely connected with a resonance, P2/P0 approximately equal to 0.5, in the linear normal mode spectrum of the corresponding models. A nonadiabatic generalization of an iterative nonlinear theory is used
