Description
The results of examinations of patients with radiation bone injuries revealed at various periods following radiation treatment of mammary gland neoplasm are presented. It is shown that a strict individual approach in choosing radiotherapeutic method with account of biological neoplastic growth, patients' immunological state, opportuneness of revealing subclinical neoplastic metastases into lymph nodes is required to decrease the frequency of radiation bone injuries. The procedure of radiotherapy itself demands accurate planning of radiation treatment, optimal field formation and radiation field geometry depending on neoplasm localization
