Description

In this short contribution we discuss certain aspects of the inverse scattering problem for coupled channels at fixed energy. The solution of the inverse problem means the calculation of the coupling potentials from the knowledge of the S-matrix obtained from nuclear reactions. We extend the modified Newton-Sabatier method known from the inverse problem of elastic scattering at fixed energy to the case of coupled channels. (author)
