Recoil reactions of iodine in binary solutions of oxyanions Pt. 2
Description
Recoil reactions of iodine-128 in the binary systems BrO3-/IO3- and NO2-/IO3- have been studied as a function of the reactant concentrations. The variation of retention with the concentrations of oxidant (BrO3-) and reductant (NO2-) is interpreted on the basis of an intermediate Br(IV) species formed. (author)
