The phase diagrams of the site-diluted spin-((1)/(2)) ising model of an alternating magnetic superlattice
Description
Using the effective field theory with a probability distribution technique that accounts for the single-site spin correlations, the critical behavior of a site-diluted spin-((1)/(2)) Ising model of an alternating magnetic superlattice is examined. The critical temperature of the system is studied as a function of the strength of the intralayer and interlayer exchange interactions, the concentration of magnetic atoms and the film thickness. The effects of modified surface layers on the critical temperature are also considered
