Single-nucleon π- absorption by light nuclei and spectral function of proton hole-states
Description
The rate of the single-nucleon absorption of stopped π- is expressed by the spectral function of proton hole states in light nuclei. The high-energy part of the neutron spectrum following 12C(π-, n)11 B reaction is calculated by means of the spectral function obtained in the coherent density fluctuation model, and is compared with the experimental data
