System for the antiseismic support of an apparatus immersed in the alkaline liquid metal bath around a fast nuclear reactor

The supporting system of a heat exchanger is described. Its feature is that the bearing flange of the apparatus on the upper shield is connected to a sleeve ensuring, independently of an internal envelope of the apparatus, a flexible take-up of the horizontal movements of its upper part, and on which is fixed, at a given level depending on the frequency of the most dangerous seismic tremors, a bearing ring for the apparatus, which is connected by its lower part to the internal envelope. The choice of three connecting levels between the internal envelope, the bearing ring and the resting flange enables a vibration frequency of the exchanger itself to be obtained, aside from the dangerous acceleration peaks due to the seismic tremors on the site where the power station is situated
