Cyclotron radiation from a rarefied inhomogeneous magnetoplasma

Description

A comprehensive discussion of effects due to cyclotron radiation (volume power loss and supplementary electron heat conduction) in a rarefied plasma in a space-dependent magnetic field is given. Furthermore, the possibility of using cyclotron radiation as a diagnostic tool is investigated.
