Description

The studies on the compression of the multiwire tungsten liner through the current magnetic field with the amplitude of 2.0-2.6 MA on the aluminium wire are carried out. The linear constituted the array consisting of 50 wires. The wire was placed along the array axis. The plasma collapse was accompanied by appearance of radiation. The pinch parameters of the plasma formed by the plasma compression on the aluminium wire, were determined through the five-channel polychromator from the radiation spectral-time measurements. The possibility of the axial magnetic field generation during the linear compression and this magnetic field energy transformation into the soft X-ray radiation is discussed
