Flat container for the safe handling of fissionable material
Description
When working in nuclear technology with solutions containing fissionable material, flat containers with an inner space safe against criticality are required, which have no internal components and as few welds as possible. Such a container consists of two flat semi-shells, which are connected by a circumferential weld. Profiles are fixed to the basic surfaces, which are surrounded closely by bandages surrounding the container. (orig.)

Beim Arbeiten in der Nukleartechnik mit Loesungen, die spaltbares Material enthalten, werden Flachbehaelter mit kritikalitaetssicherer innerer lichten Weite benoetigt, die keine Einbauten und moeglichst wenig Schweissnaehte besitzen. Ein solcher Behaelter besteht aus zwei flachen Halbschalen, die durch eine umlaufende Schweissnaht miteinander verbunden sind. Auf den Basisflaechen sind Profile befestigt, die von den Behaeltern umfassenden enganliegenden Bandagen umgeben sind. (orig.)Files
