Effect of pressing force on structure and Tc of YBa2Cu3O7-x powder
Description
Compacting of YBa2Cu3O7-x powders (Tc=86-92) under 200-1000 MPa pressure leads to basal-type texture formation, substructure state change, orthorhombic 123 phase particular decomposition and as consequence to decrease of Tc and increase of ΔTc. Comprehensive reduction of equioibrium structure and Tc level is achieved by double annealing with grinding between annealing stages or by thermocycling without grinding
