Electrochemical reduction of halogenide cadmium complexes in dimethylformamide

Description
Cadmium reduction in the presence of halogenide ions in dimethylformamide (DMF) in a wide potential range was studied by the method of cyclic chrono-ampere-voltmetry (CVA). A CVA installation comprising electrochemical cell with studied and auxiliary electrodes and an electrode of comparison was used for measurements. The installation is suoplied with a device of automatic compensation of ohmic component. A functional diagram of the installation is presented. Distribution diagrams of halogenide and rhodanide cadmium complexes are given
