Method of separating hydrogen and its isotopes

Description

Object: To separate hydrogen and its isotopes absorbed in a particular substance into individual elements by making use of the dissociation pressure of said substance. Structure: A substance filling a container and capable of reaction with hydrogen and its isotopes (for instance zirconium, uranium and titanium) is caused to absorb hydrogen, deuterium and tritium. The temperature and pressure within said container are adjusted, whereby hydrogen and its isotopes contained in the substance are emitted therefrom one element practically independent of the others to thereby separate hydrogen and its isotopes.
