First γ-ray spectroscopy and collectivity of 88Se

Creators

  • 1. Laboratoire de Physique Subatomique et de Cosmologie - LPSC, Grenoble (France)

Description

This series of slides details the first observation of excited states in 88Se. The level scheme is interpreted with the shell model. The structure appears to be consistent with a γ-soft or transitional nucleus and collectivity seems to develop from pseudo-SU(3) scheme.
