Measuring instrument in nuclear reactors

Description

Purpose: To enable the measurement for the entire power distribution within a shortest time of period in a device for operating detectors inserted to the reactor core of a nucler reactor and measuring the 3-dimensional power distribution of the reactor even when detectors are partially failed. Constitution: A unit has a function of receiving status information from a driving control microcomputer showing whether detectors, driving devices and channel selection devices are normal or not and supplying control signals showing the optimum operation procedures for the detectors, driving devices and channel selection devices to each of driving and controlling microcomputers. Because of the provision of the unit for controlling the optimum operation of the detector, entire power distibution can be measured in the shortest time of period even if detectors are partially failed.
