Ge(Li) detector efficiency

Description

The basic properties of Ge(Li) detectors are given, their detection efficiency and methods of determining detection efficiency are described. The dependence of detection efficiency of two coaxial Ge(Li) detectors (13 cm3 and 45 cm3) on the energy of gamma radiation within an energy region of 60 keV to 1836 keV is given. (J.P.)
