Moessbauer study of occupation of iron ions in palygorskite

Description
In this paper, Moessbauer spectra were used to research thermal decomposing process and the occupation of Fe ions in iron rich palygorskite, which is collected from Longwangshan, Xuyi, Jiangsu Province. It is indicated that Fe ions are in ferric and occupy both M1 and M2 of octahedral ribbon with a ratio close to 3:1. (authors)
