Study of microstructural characterization of the Calotropis Procera fiber and its potential application in the removal of hydrocarbons and derivatives

Description

The aim the work was to investigate the adsorbent capacity of the Calotropis Procera fiber for the removal of hydrocarbons through its microstructural characteristics. Calotropis Procera is a latex-rich shrub. Although it is very little researched in the environmental area, the physical-chemical and microstructural properties of its fiber showed great efficiency as an adsorbent ecomaterial for hydrocarbons and derivatives with significant levels of adsorption
