Critical angle for skipping motion of ion beams

  • 1. Waseda Univ., Tokyo (Japan). Dept. of Physics

Description

The authors show that there is no discrepancy between experiment and theory in the energy dependence of critical angles for skipping motion by taking account of the real electron distribution (a jellium model) at the surface. (author)
