Description
A method of graft copolymerization with mutual Co-60 gamma ray irradiation technique was studied. It was found that 40% concentration of acrylonitril in benzene irradiated with irradiation dose between 1,0-2,0 Mrad and dose rate of 0,059 Mrad per hour could produce maximum degree of grafting between 12,5 - 29,4%. The grafting of acrylonitrile onto natural rubber can improve its oil resistence, and increase its tensile strength as well. (author)
