Super high voltage system for ion beam inertial confinement fusion

Description
A super high voltage system (SHVS) is investigated as a driver of ion beam inertial confinement fusion. We have estimated the limitations and efficiency of the system. The results show SHVS is available for medium Z ion acceleration for inertial confinement fusion. (author)
